Salon's Reopening!

We are open!!

After being shutdown for a second time I'm very excited to get back to work.

We're re-opening — at reduced capacity  for the time being to allow for fewer clients and stylists in the salon at the same time. I plan to open my schedule more as conditions allow.

I appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate our 'new normal'. Here's all the info:

We have guidelines from LA County, our licensing board, and Salon Republic that we'll need to follow in order to serve you, outlined below.

Arriving to your appointment:
  • The front doors of Salon Republic are locked — Text or email me once you've arrived. I'm required to meet you at the front doors to escort you up to our studio.
  • Make sure you have my cell phone number in your contacts so we can communicate: (310) 896-5727
  • Masks / face coverings are required for entranceand the duration of your hair service.
  • Stylists can only see one client at a time. If arriving with another person they must wait outside Salon Republic. If this isn't possible please make separate appointments. If the appointment is for a child: "One parent or guardian and one child may be present together in the salon as long as the child is of an age requiring parental/guardian supervision."
During your appointment:

— At this time I am not permitted to:
  • Blow dry your hair after your service. *you may see some stylists not adhering to this guideline.
  • Provide magazines for reading.
  • Serve you a beverage; plan ahead for anything you'd like to bring to drink.
Additional notes:
  • If you have felt sick or have been in physical contact with someone who tested positive for CoVid-19 in the last 14 days please do not come in — reschedule your appointment.
  • We are disinfecting between each client and have a deep cleaning service come to our studio every other Monday.
  • If you prefer contactless payment you can save your credit card info on my secure online booking site when you schedule (more info here) or VenMo me.

Online booking site updates:
  • I've increased appointment duration by 30 minutes to allow for disinfecting between each client and in case I'm running late.
  • You can now book on the half-hour as well as on the hour.
  • An 'Express Hair Color Service' option has been added for clients preferring minimal exposure and are able to leave and rinse their own hair at home*additional details on the online booking site after selecting that service — *not intended for new clients.
